The Celebrate Community Partnership is comprised of local businesses who have joined together in a team effort to provide much-needed funding and print and digital media exposure to Sonoma County nonprofits. Through this program, nonprofit organizations and business leaders are able to build bridges which lead to a more connected community by informing local residents, businesses and government about the ways we can all work together to solve key community challenges.

The recent wildfires in October of 2017 provided a real opportunity to come together to appeal for Fire Relief funding. Celebrate Community Partners Redwood Credit Union and the Press Democrat, along with Sen. Mike McGuire, jumped in right away to establish a fund for the public to donate money to fire victims. $32 million dollars was collected and given directly to those needing it most. It became the single largest fundraising effort ever in Sonoma County. Twenty-two countries were represented and 41,000 people handed over funds to help. Most, if not all, of the Celebrate Partners gave significant amounts of money to this effort.

The Partner organizations serve nearly everyone in our community and employ more than 10,000 people all over the North Bay. They care about what happens here, and welcome others to join them in this endeavor.
